Dominican Republic“s Border Development Department signs a memorandum of understanding with INDEMAR to develop fisheries in bordering areas.

Border Development Department signed an inter-institutional a memorandum of understanding with International INDEMAR Fisheries S.L., a company belonging to INCATEMA Group, to carry out a feasibility study that updates the fisheries state of affairs in the municipalities of Juancho, Manzanillo and Monción tp develop fisheries and aquaculture in these bordering towns.
This study, that relies on an updated technical report from a previous agreement signed in June 2005 between both institutions, eventually serving as a basis for a final agreement that establishes the conditions to carry out this activity, is reflected in the memorandum of understanding signed between Border Development General Director, Mr Miguel Bejarán and INDEMAR’s president Mr Francisco Javier Pardo de Santayana Dubois.
