INCATEMA Consulting & Engineering S.L. signs a contract to supply a training ship

INCATEMA Consulting & Engineering S.L. signed a contract with Grup Aresa International to build a multipurpose fisheries training ship to be used in the Vocational Fisheries Training School CEFOPESCAS, in Luanda (Angola) that will be ready by the beginning of 2019.

The training ship, with 20 m girder and 2.10 m draught, can hold 4 deck crew and 12 students. It is prepared to train with the most modern fishing gear and equipped with homologated facilities complying with international regulations: radar, navigation system, fishing acoustic sounder, Radar GMDSS transponder, sonar and all necessary equipment to fulfil its duty. It will be made in glass-reinforced polyester and built according to milestones approval by Bureau Veritas certifications.

This training ship is part of a project signed with the Angolan Ministry of Fisheries to build and furnish a Vocational Fisheries Training Centre CEFOPESCAS, that includes building a large training building with three floors with 4.400 m2, 12 residential buildings for 310 students, residential buildings for 24 teachers, laboratories, workshops, navigation simulator, practice fields with an adapted pool to recreate high sea maritime rescue, the training ship and smaller vessels to simulate any given situation, canteens, green areas and parking lots, in a 42 Ha plot.
