INCATEMA starts working in EU-funded Regional Competitiveness Operational Programme (RCOP) Projects in Turkey as member of an international consortium.

On the past 4th July 2016, the international consortium led by Project Group, where INCATEMA Consulting & Engineering is partner along with two other companies from Turkey and Latvia, started working on the Technical Assistance to Samsun Logistics Centre, a project funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey.
The aim of this project is to support the company that will soon manage the newly created Logistics Centre in Samsun, whose works are on-going, to assure that staff is well trained in all necessary abilities to pilot a modern logistics centre that is expected to become a key trade-related facility in the Middle Black Sea.
On August the 8th 2016, at the Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA) premises, the formal kick-off meeting for the technical assistance took place. This meeting was attended by the three experts that form the technical assistance team, the project managers from the consortium companies, including INCATEMA, staff from OKA (end recipient of our assistance), from the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology (contracting authority for all RCOP projects), from Samsun Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Samsun Municipality. The last two institutions attending are two of the four shareholders of Samsun Logistics Centre Management Company.
In addition to this technical assistance in Samsun, the same consortium has recently been awarded another technical assistance contract under RCOP, in this case the Technical Assistance for the establishment of Rize Tea Research and Application Centre (TRAC), targeting also the Black Sea area, in the town of Rize.
