The Angolan Ministry of Fisheries celebrated the start-up of the new Fisheries Vocational Training Centre (CEFOPESCAS) that will be built by INCATEMA in Luanda.

The Angolan Ministry of Fisheries celebrated on September the 29th the launching of works for the new Fisheries Vocational Training Centre (CEFOPESCAS) that will be built by INCATEMA near Ramiro (Luanda).
The act was chaired by the Angolan Minister of Fisheries, Her Excellency Victoria de Barros Neto, and relevant authorities attended it such as the Minister of Education, Minister of Youth and Sports, Luanda County Governor and representatives from the Spanish Embassy in Angola.
This training area with more than 5 serviced hectares responds to the training needs assessed for Angolan fisheries sector and combines modern architecture with high-tech engineering and urban space integration into the natural landscape.
The centre will have the necessary facilities to carry out vocational & professional training up to a bachelors’ degree in fisheries and navigation, including the most modern fisheries & navigation simulation equipment and a training ship fully equipped with different fishing gear. Once the centre is fully operational, it will hold more than 300 people in full board.
