The main pumping station plot enclosure within water supply works in Port-au-Prince (Haiti) comes to an end.

The enclosure for the plot containing the main pumping station is completed, and the building to host the pumps is being built. Pipes have already been sent and electromechanical elements are being manufactured. Works are divided in two lots, one of which calls for a guided horizontal drilling of 600 m, necessary to cross Grisse riverbed that is 250 m wide.
The technical team in Madrid headquarters is still supporting staff posted in the works site. Capacity studies for 8 wells feeding the supply network have already been finalised, and these results feed into the pumping system designs to carry water from the wells to the main pumping station, where 8 pumps will carry water to the reservoirs that support the water supply network.
