Incatema starts test runs of the Potable Water Plant of Kédougou (Senegal)

Incatema Consulting & Engineering has initiated the phase of test runs of the potable water plant for the municipality of Kédougou in the Republic of Senegal, with the arrival of specialists to commission the equipment required to continue advancing on the installations. This project will allow the inhabitants of this sector to have a significant improvement in the quality of their water supply, in a country where 69% of the population lacks access to safe sources.

This project, for the Ministry of Hydraulics and Sanitation of the Republic of Senegal and financed by the National Water Company of Senegal (SONES) has been allocated an investment of more than 12.8 million euros. Its objective is to improve the quality of life and health conditions of more than one million people who live in the towns of Kédougou, Foundiougne and a sector of the city of Dakar, as previously reported here.
