Incatema participates in the 7th Innovate4Climate Congress (I4C) on Climate Change

24 May, 2023

Incatema participates in Bilbao in the 7th Innovate4Climate Congress (I4C) organised by the World Bank from 23 to 25 May. After 2 years of virtual meeting holding, this year the Congress will be held in person.

I4C is a congress that brings together the public and private sectors to address all the issues related to climate, finance, investment and policy, as well as the carbon markets and business models for emerging products and technologies.

In this regard, Incatema's Director of Consulting, Ana Romero, points out that the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement have contributed to establish a new global landscape around the importance of including climate action in public policies and financing, attracting multiple public and private actors.

This year's edition features high-level plenary sessions, workshops and a virtual exhibition area, as well as a special day dedicated to young people and a specific training workshop for the media.

Young people at the heart of innovation to fight climate change

Under the theme Young Climate Innovators 2023, the special youth day aims to inspire, empower and engage young professionals and graduate students (aged 18-35) engaged in all sectors related to climate change globally.

This programme will consist of up to 4-hour knowledge sharing and capacity building workshops in collaboration with the World Bank's Y2Y Global Youth Climate Network and Connect4Climate, with the intention of facilitating peer learning, networking and intergenerational exchange of ideas between climate leaders, climate entrepreneurs, youth as well as climate and development experts at the World Bank and beyond.
