Incatema starts test runs of the Potable Water Plants of Foundiougne and Dakar

Incatema Consulting & Engineering has initiated the functional testing phase of the drinking water plants of Foundiougne and Dakar with reception and commissioning of the auxiliary equipment necessary for automation, electrification and the pumping system necessary to continue with the advances on the three installations, a project that will allow the inhabitants of these sectors of the Senegalese Republic to enjoy a significant improvement in the quality of their water supply.

At present, the last few connections are being made so that the tests can begin on the water of the Dakar city plant and the equipment is being installed in Kédougou so that water tests can commence towards the end of November.

Incatema is maintaining the good pace of execution of these works funded by the National Water Company of Senegal (SONES), and valued at 12.8 million euros, complying with the agreed delivery periods for the end of the year, and designed to improve the quality of life and health conditions of more than one million people living in the cities of Kédougou, Foundiougne and a sector of Dakar city as previously reported here.
