Construction has begun of the water tank in L’Asile (Haiti)

Incatema Consulting & Engineering has started construction of the water tank corresponding to the project to expand and rehabilitate the drinking water system of the city of L’Asile, where additionally has ended construction of the 5 water kiosks included in the works.

Incatema’s team is immersed in the purchase and manufacture of materials, which will be transported to the island by boat. These include pipes and domestic equipment. Specifically:

• PE pipes with diameters of between 50 and 225 millimetres.

• Material for domestic intakes, including meters.

• Valves and accessories for network operation.

• Solar-powered pumping equipment (pump and photovoltaic panels).

• Equipment for the new tank: AISI304L stainless steel pipes, valves, FRP stairs.

• Cast iron manhole covers.

The project to expand and rehabilitate the drinking water system of the city of L’Asile has a budget of 1.4 million euros funded by the World Bank, as previously reported here.
