Incatema collaborates with APACAMA’s Solidarity Walk to raise funds for breast cancer

28 September, 2025

Incatema has collaborated with the IV Solidarity Walk Against Breast Cancer organized by APACAMA, the first non-profit association for Prevention and Care for women affected by breast cancer in the province of Toledo.

The march, held on 27 September in Toledo, has been a beacon of hope and solidarity, and a powerful reminder of the importance of coming together as a community to support women fighting this disease and their families.

The importance of prevention

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women worldwide, but, thanks to early detection, the chances of cure are high. For this reason, we at Incatema take this opportunity to remind you of some of the most important preventive measures:

• Regular check-ups: monthly breast self-examination and mammograms after the age of 40 (or earlier if there are risk factors) are crucial to detect any abnormalities early.

• Healthy lifestyle: maintaining a balanced diet, regular exercise and avoiding tobacco and alcohol consumption are factors that help reduce the risk.

We believe that information and awareness are powerful tools. By participating in this march, we are not only supporting the cause financially, but we are also helping to spread this vital message.

We thank all the organizers and participants for their dedication and effort. Together we can make a difference and take another step forward in the fight against breast cancer.
