Incatema coordinates the first meeting to set up the public-private dialogue platforms within the Commercial Agricultural Development Project in Angola

26 October, 2022

Incatema Consulting & Engineering and the Angolan Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry have jointly organised on the past 26th and 27th October the first gathering to set up Public-Private Dialogue Platforms within the Commercial Agriculture Development Project (CADP), financed by the Angolan government, the World Bank and the French Development Agency. This project targets actors from prioritised value chains such as maize, beans and soybeans.

Participants to this first gathering include representatives from main public institutions such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the provincial government, research institutes, banks and private sector economic operators with direct presence in the said value chains.

This event took place in Kalunda Hotel, in Sumbe municipality (Cuanza Sul province).

“Collaboration and good use of dialogue capacity is very useful to improve relationships between governmental institutions and private sector, as well as among private sector operators all along the value chains”, points out Ana Romero, head of consultancy projects at Incatema.

Incatema provides technical assistance to the CADP since 2018. This specific technical assistance to support Public – Private and Private – Private Dialogues started at the beginning of 2022 and will last until the end of 2023, as we informed here.
